Hi..

Following my previous post, I’m currently focusing myself in pursuit scholarships for my master degree. But tonight, it hit me. This pandemic situation might take longer than we thought it would. We don’t know for sure whether the cure for this virus will be founded by the end of this year. Maybe we still need to stay at our home until next year. But of course I hope it won’t happen.

The outbreak of Covid-19 definitely ruining every plans that we have this year. I already bought a ticket to my dream destination with my friend this July and we think we’re gonna have to cancel it. My friend’s actually planning to have wedding this year but, we don’t know for sure whether it will happen or not.

This pandemic situation really make our life on pause. We forced to revisit the most basic of human need which is, safety. And we haven’t really thought about this too. Who would’ve known that we’re gonna spend most of our time in this early trimester of the year by staying at home? Fighting to stay alive against this virus and protecting our loved ones.

But there are other more, this situation is reminding us that hygiene is important, cooking our own meal is healthier (and cheaper too!), even I see a lot of people make a better connection too! Either it’s with their family or friends. I have this group that most of the nights, we’ll have a chatting routines just to talk about anything! We even haven’t gone out much before this pandemic. I call my parents more often too. I’m reaching out to my friends too see how they are going in this situation. There are some activities that not included in our daily routines before Corona. A new time zone called “before Corona”. I also see a lot of people get more creative in their quarantine times. So, I guess if we are seeing this difficult time in other perspective, it’s not that bad at all.
